Summer so soon

Its been four weeks of sunshine,  the hottest on record. It feels like summer and people are smiling. The sun creates happiness and a sense of possibility which is welcome at the end of a long winter. However this spell is unseasonably warm, it is unnervingly constant and when the heavens opened for twenty minutes of rain in London yesterday, people were walking in wonder through the water. I am conflicted, appreciating that plants and crops need rain but so happy the sun is here. Is this Climate Change or just freak weather. What are the implications? Is it wrong to be delighted by unseasonal weather? And what will be the impact? There are so many unanswered questions and I am not sure I want to know all the answers.
